Hi, my name is Sarah Troyer. I grew up a tomboy on a farm and at age 15 my dream of having horses finally came true. That's when I began training. I studied Pat Parreli, Buck Brenaman and more than any, John Lyons. And of course learned tons through trial and err.  Over the years I gave riding lessons, trained my own and friends horses.

Then in '09 I married Nelson (who has been the best mentor I could ever dream of) and began training professionally.
  I base my training on the two keys of all relationship, respect and trust. You cannot have one without the other and neither one comes freely. Both must be won by connecting, communicating and proving worthy of leadership through patients and perseverance. Every horse is different, but one thing will remain the same. All equine, be it horses, donkeys or mules, want to have a worthy leader who they can respect and trust.
